Good news for Rondol: First 3D-printed pill approved by US authorities
05 Aug 2015«"For the last 50 years we have
manufactured tablets in factories and shipped them to hospitals and for the
first time this process means we can produce tablets much closer to the
patient," said Dr Mohamed Albed Alhnan, a lecturer in pharmaceutics at the

Donatien Bruggeman: “We are really happy to see that the US Food
and Drug Administration has given the go-ahead for a 3D-printed pill to be
produced. Pills that could be manufactured using Rondol’s equipment. This is
therefore a great opportunity to introduce our small 3D printed line that has
been designed for manufacturing 3D printing cartridges fitted either for the
pharmaceutical industry either for other high demanding industries.”
